This gorgeous wristlet was crafted by skilled artisans in a remote village of Chichicastenango, El Quiché, Guatemala. The stunning textile comes from upcycled textile of a traditional Mayan blouse; a "huipil". Each Guatemalan village has its own distinct pattern and style, often using different weaving techniques - this makes Mayan weaving so intensely rich in culture.
