Guatemalan Blanket - Throw/Tzute
This pre-loved hand-woven textile is traditionally called "Tzute", woven on a backstrap loom. A Tzute is used as a wrap, to carry items, a baby, or to use as decoration in a religious ceremony. It is 100% cotton from the town of Solola, Guatemala.
It comes in a variety of pastel pink & Purple colors, with jaspe colors of forest green, white and some shimmery threads . The black and white sections include the traditional jaspe dying technique. This stunning throw would be great to keep you warm on chilly summer nights or use as a table runner or a throw to add an ethnic look to your home!
