Handwoven on a traditional back-strap loom with 100% cotton, this vintage piece showcases a vibrant Shamrock Green base, free from dyes. Directly sourced from skilled weavers in the remote village of Chajul, each top embodies heritage and artistry.

Pair this sustainable top with denim or linen for a relaxed day out, or style it with a skirt and boots for a chic evening look. However you wear it, this timeless garment will turn heads and highlight your commitment to slow fashion.

The soft, cool fabric is a favorite among our collection. The top's woven-embroidered design features gorgeous Dragons. The Mayas have incorporated the Dragon into their huipiles since ancient times. This design often depicts Kukulkan, the creator of Earth and its inhabitants. Kukulkan was known to control the weather and natural disasters. Dragons are often seen as something to be feared, but this Dragon symbol is revered for both the fearsome and beautiful aspects of nature. Those in tune with nature will sense the majesty of the Dragon. This top is such a meaningful addition to your ethical wardrobe!
